WE FINALLY GOT THE SNOW!!!
The last large amount of snow we got was considered a blizzard, and we got a fraction of the snow promised to us. They all said 12-14 inches, and we got maybe 4.
But don’t get me wrong, it was still nice. cars buried in, people being forced to spend their days picking at the packed ice in front of store fronts running through town, and the beauty of fresh snow.
But this week, this week was all different. In our most recent storm, they called it “Blizzard Like” conditions. Far more wind ripping through the streets, and about 4 times as much snow. I guess the only bad part for me was working an over night tour in it. But the walk home in the morning was great, assuming that someone took the time to shovel their front walkway, then you just have to hope that you have good traction on your shoes.
