[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I decided to go towards the jazz side of me for my song of the day.  I discovered this man several years ago when my folks, my uncle, and I went to the Jazz festival in downtown San Diego, along with all the other great music, this man came on a did a little number that impressed my father enough to purchase his CD.

Oil Silk, though my uncle continues to call them “Oil Slick”, was created in London in the mid ‘90’s, though he began playing Keyboard at the age of 11.    Anyway, he played with some big Jazz names and caught the attention of many people including Trippin’N’Rhytham Records.  They quickly signed him and put out a record.

His website is a bit annoying, but its loaded with information.  so if you feel so inclined to tackel something that i can no longer view, just click here, and good luck to you.

The name of the song is San Carlos Approach, from the record, So Many Ways, 2006.  His first record with Trippin’N’Rhytham Records in which He, who insists on going by the name “Oil Silk”, was the musical director.
